♥ - ~GOD ON THE MOUNTAIN IS STILL GOD IN THE VALLEY~ - ♥

"Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."  --- Matt:28:20

Have you ever noticed how easy life seems when we are spiritually on the mountain tops
of this life, without problems or trials? However, when we face the many difficulties
that come to all of us, it isn't as easy. We have to keep our minds and hearts
focused upon the Lord Jesus Christ and know that He will bring us through.
Our confidence must be in the Lord and in His Holy Word.
Scripture tells us it rains on both the just and the unjust. All people will have
times of sickness, walk through the valley of the shadow of death, and face heartaches
and disappointments. Isn't it wonderful that we have the assurance we will never have
to face the future alone? We know we have the same God in the valleys of this life
as when we seem to be on the mountain tops.

Even when the times of sorrow, discouragement, and oppression come our way,
we know that these too shall pass. Whatever we go through, we are never alone
if we hold on to the nail scarred hand of the Savior. Our Good Shepherd knows the
future and leads us through the valleys. He is with us in adversity and gives us strength
for every battle we may face. If He brings us to it, He will see us through it.
Have courage today in spite of circumstances that may seem to overwhelm you.
God hasn't forgotten you. He is just as close as the mention of His name. Reach
up in faith and claim every promise He has given.

PSALMS 23

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou anointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.

~A REFUGE IN THE STORM~

There are many times in life,
When dark clouds may hide the light of day,
The storms and trials of life surround you,
And try to make you lose your way.
In the midst of every storm,
Jesus stands with outstretched hands,
He will whisper peace unto you child,
And the storms will cease at his command.
When fierce winds blow all around you,
And fear tries to grip your heart,
Just reach out unto the Savior,
He will hold you close and never depart.
He is a refuge in the darkness,
A hiding place in which you can abide,
Under wings of love He will shelter you,
And keep you close by His side.
So if you face a high mountain,
Or storms seem to get you down,
Just run to the Rock of your salvation,
He is your "Refuge" where peace is always found.
